Kendle Appoints GM in Germany

Guy J. Dewil, M.D. has been appointed general manager in Germany at Kendle. Dr. Dewil will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term growth strategy for Kendle’s regional services. His responsibilities will include ensuring associates work cooperatively with other countries/regions, function/services and support units in the execution of all projects, while also driving operational quality to support the company’s financial targets in Germany.

Dr. Dewil has broad medical and clinical management expertise. He joins the company from Siemens AG, where he served as managing director Special Systems/Women’s Health. Previously he served as chief operating officer at ICON Central Laboratories. He also has held leadership positions with global biopharmaceutical companies including global business unit manager for surgery and business development leader at General Electric Medical Systems, Benelux product manager at Medvision Benelux NV/SA, and medical advisor at Schering AG.
